After missing out on tables at the fall activities fair, student leaders have found innovative ways to attract new members to their organizations without the help of the popular August event.

With nearly 700 student organizations, Pitt features clubs that serve a variety of interests, from writing letters as random acts of kindness to visiting immigrant-owned restaurants around Pittsburgh.

Students flocked to virtual Zoom calls to find social, service, sport and academic organizations to join. Held from 1-3 p.m. online through Campus Labs, the virtual Activities Fair featured 424 clubs, each with their own virtual room for students to drop in to learn more about the organization, ask questions and express their interest.
