Pitt women’s basketball failed to overcome the struggles that plagued the team all season in a 67-56 loss to Boston College in the first round of the ACC tournament on Wednesday.
Pitt women’s basketball qualified as the No. 15 seed of 15 teams in the ACC Tournament. The Panthers play their first tournament game on Wednesday.

Top-ranked men’s soccer steals 2-1 ACC Tournament win over Duke

The No.1 Pitt Panthers opened the ACC Tournament in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a strong 2-1 win over Duke. It was unclear how Pitt would play without star first-year forward Bertin Jacquesson, who missed the game due to coronavirus-related protocols, but the Panther offense still found enough success to pull out a win.

Pitt first-year guard Dayshanette Harris’s go-ahead floater with 2.7 seconds remaining was just the icing on the cake of the Panthers’ improbable and incredible upset over No. 10 seed Notre Dame.
Despite the 1-0 loss to Clemson in South Carolina Wednesday night, the Panthers set new records by making it to the semifinal stage in the ACC tournament for the first time in program history.
