Pitt seeks to sanction Students for Justice in Palestine, threatens event restrictions

The Office of Student Conduct is requiring SJP to complete a conduct hearing. The proposed sanctions include banning the club from hosting events through May 5, an action that may throw the future of pro-Palestinian organizing on campus into question.

Pitt hits Board of Trustees protestors with charges, conduct hearings

Pitt has filed three summary charges and held eight conduct hearings against protestors who disrupted a Board of Trustees meeting in September. Most of the protesters were students, staff and unaffiliated supporters of Trans Action Building.
