We’re supposed to soak up our last moments of college — in many ways, the last moments before being thrust into adulthood — without even fully knowing what we’ve missed.

Despite the majority of Pitt students leaving campus for the summer, Jack Corey, a third-year pharmacy student, said he hasn’t noticed a significant decrease in visitors to the University’s vaccine clinics this summer.

Though the COVID-19 pandemic postponed the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Pittsburgh and many of the other ways people would normally spend the day, the Irish community has managed to find ways to celebrate their heritage.
The Pitt Shop on Forbes Avenue is one of the stores participating in Shop2Help Oakland, a program created by the Oakland Business Improvement District to help businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pitt’s COVID-19 Medical Response Office announced in an email Monday evening that the University-wide shelter-in-place period will end as of 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. 
Pitt’s Office of Admissions and Financial Aid announced Wednesday afternoon that it extended its ACT and SAT test-optional policy through fall 2023 for first-year applicants in all programs, majors, schools and colleges.
