Chief of Police, students discuss absence of ENS alert following assault of two Jewish students on campus

After no alert from the Emergency Notification System alert was sent at Pitt following the assault of two Jewish students on Friday evening, students have raised concerns about campus safety and how law enforcement responds and notifies the Pitt community when dangers occur.

Pitt to automatically enroll all students in ENS texts

City police respond to male barricaded inside Oakland Court home

City police responded Wednesday to an incident involving a male barricaded inside a home on the 100 block of Oakland Court. Police safely located the male at around 4 p.m., and closed streets have now reopened.
