McDonald’s construction on Forbes halted due to safety permit violation

McDonald's on Forbes Avenue closed for renovations, but construction was forced to stop because the Department of Permit, License and Inspection found that the restaurant hadn’t filed the proper paperwork for its sprinkler system.
The new Moe’s in Oakland officially opened June 19 after delaying its opening for 10 weeks due to COVID-19.
