Pitt Day of Giving raises more than $2.49 million, up 51% from last year as of early Wednesday

The fifth annual Pitt Day of Giving — a 24-hour fundraising initiative — took place all day Tuesday. This year’s PDoG raised about $2.49 million, as of Wednesday at 2 a.m. — up about 51% from last year’s event, which raised $1.65 million.
