Traveling down south to play against a tough opponent to start the season, Pitt women’s basketball faded in the second half and lost 74-58 at UCF on Wednesday afternoon.

Though it wasn't pretty, Pitt men's basketball started its season off right with a 63-61 win over ACC foe Florida State in front of a restructured and rejuvenated Oakland Zoo on Wednesday night.
