Although the practice of Witchcraft can often feel fairly solitary, with many of the practices revolving only around that practitioner’s life, Witchcraft also has a strong focus on nature and the elements.

It seems that even today, people only think of Witches as the villains in Disney movies. While there are many secrets surrounding the practice, it is far more rooted in established religion than many people think.

There are plenty of easy tips and tricks to sneaking some small rituals and Witchy practices into a student’s everyday life.

Now that spooky season has officially ended, it is perhaps a very good time to reflect on a certain aspect of the Halloween season — Witches, and the usually negative representation of them in media.

Halloween may be over, but the celebration of Samhain is still going strong. Samhain is a Celtic holiday celebrating the last harvest of the year from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, which historically served as the origins for the now mainstream Halloween holiday.
