Board of Trustees approves new salaries for Pitt leaders

The University of Pittsburgh’s Board of Trustees approved salaries for Provost Joseph McCarthy, Vice Chancellor Phil Bakken, and Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Dwayne Pinkney. The Board also approved retention payments for Vice Chancellor and Chief Legal Officer Geovette Washington for this year and the next four years.
Coach Narduzzi is the highest-paid non-officer employee at Pitt.

Pitt released a list of its 25 highest-paid non-officer employees for fiscal year 2018, with Patrick Narduzzi, the men’s football coach, topping out at more than $3 million.
