SGB hears fall budget requests

Student Government Board heard budget requests for the fall 2025 term at its weekly meeting in Nordy’s Place on Tuesday night. The board also deferred voting on the 2025 omnibus bill, which was introduced last week until the next public meeting.

SGB announces Workers United ad-hoc committee, passes single use plastics resolution

At its weekly meeting on Tuesday at Nordy’s Place, Student Government Board announced a new Workers United ad-hoc and changes to the allocations request process for student organizations. The board also voted to pass the single-use plastics resolution that was introduced last week.

Student Government Board introduced a new sustainability resolution and discussed plans to continue student renter advocacy. Board members also resumed their conservation on depleting allocations funds and addressed concerns from Students for Justice in Palestine.

SGB grants record-high allocations amid budget concerns, data shows
