It is important to observe demographic trends when analyzing COVID-19 testing, but LuAnn Brink, an epidemiologist with Allegheny County Health Department, said it becomes difficult when a patient’s race is not included in the data.
Dr. John Williams, the head of the COVID-19 Medical Response Office, clarified details about Pitt’s vaccination effort, which could provide shots to up to 800 people, at Thursday afternoon’s Senate Council meeting.

Students in ‘clinical-facing positions’ to receive vaccines late next week
