Students jumped at the sound of cannons blasting red confetti and smoke into the air when Carly Rae Jepsen hit the beat drop before the chorus of her song, “Run Away with Me.” Pitt Program Council (PPC) hosted its annual Bigelow Bash on Sunday afternoon.

PPC announces Carly Rae Jepsen as Bigelow Bash headliner

Pitt Program Council (PPC) announced on Instagram Saturday night that Carly Rae Jepsen, a Canadian dance and synth-pop singer-songwriter, will headline this year’s Bigelow Bash. Pitt’s annual spring concert will take place on April 2.

Pitt Program Council’s annual Bigelow Bash didn’t take place on Bigelow Boulevard this year. Instead, Pitt students joined Jason Derulo in the garage of his Los Angeles home.
