It’s unfortunate that the burden of preventing sexual assault often falls on student activists, including the organizer’s of last week’s protest, rather than large institutions or those who are likely to commit assault.     

Pitt police issued a crime alert Wednesday detailing a reported sexual assault in the 100 block of University Place.

Pitt Police issued a crime report Thursday around 10:30 a.m. describing an “armed threat incident” that took place at 3250 Parkview Avenue.
