On Sept. 12, Dolphins fans watched their franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa take another wince-inducing hit, and the gasps that followed sucked all the air out of the stadium.  I too gasped when I saw the unfortunately familiar scene — Tagovailoa on the ground.

National Sports Brain Bank created, researches causes and treatments for sports-related brain injuries

The University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine announced the creation of the National Sports Brain Bank, a study that researches causes of and treatments for contact sport-related neurodegenerative disorders.
