Pitt junior defensive end Dayon Hayes arrested, charged with simple assault

Pitt junior defensive end Dayon Hayes has been charged with one count of simple assault following a violent dispute with his girlfriend. Head coach Pat Narduzzi said that any disciplinary action from the team “will remain a private matter.”

No. 7 Pitt volleyball sweeps weekend, extends winning streak to 17

No. 7 Pitt volleyball dominated on the road this weekend, comfortably beating Syracuse and Boston College. These wins extended the Panthers’ winning streak to 17 games, and head coach Dan Fisher recorded career win no. 250 in the process.
