The 2020 presidential election remains too close to call as of early Wednesday morning, with the nail-biter election hinging on the outcome of several midwest swing states, including Pennsylvania, which are still counting ballots in the high-turnout contest.

The Board of Trustees committee charged with investigating whether Pitt should divest its $4.3 billion endowment of fossil fuels held an open forum Friday morning to allow students, faculty and alumni to share their feedback on the matter.
Pitt is a large, research-intensive institution with a sizable STEM focus, including 76 STEM departments, seven schools with a STEM focus and nearly 4,500 STEM faculty.
