Campus political organizations hold presidential debate watch parties for students

The first debate between presidential nominees Donald Trump and Kamala Harris took place on Sept. 10. College Democrats at Pitt, College Republicans at Pitt and Pitt Votes, a nonpartisan University organization, each held watch parties for students to watch the debate live.

Pitt Grad Union reaches agreement with administration after rally at Cathedral of Learning

On Tuesday evening, the Pitt administration met the latest demands of the graduate student union when they submitted a list of eligible graduate employees to the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, the final step in the unionization process before a formal election.

Panthers Forward loan forgiveness program applications open

On Monday, applications for the Panthers Forward student debt relief program opened. Students who are currently in their senior year can apply, and those accepted will receive up to $5,000 of federal student loan forgiveness upon graduation.
