Opinion | Politicians shouldn’t visit disaster sites

By Alex Jurkuta, Contributing Editor October 17, 2024

Netanyahu threatened the genocidal hammer onto the civilians of Lebanon for not fighting against Hezbollah, an armed resistance group formed in the 1980s in face of Israeli aggression. Opinion | A Spotify Daylist lookover and why I think it is a great addition to Spotify

By Irene Moran, Senior Staff Columnist October 9, 2024
Spotify Daylists might be one of my favorite features on the app, minus the Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year. It’s a feature feature where a playlist is made for you depending on what kind of music you listen to during that time of day, and it changes depending on the time of day.
Opinion | Why Pittsburgh needs a rental registry — and why we’re still waiting on one

Opinion | Why Pittsburgh needs a rental registry — and why we’re still waiting on one

The issue is that it’s not right to treat housing as pure business — and I mean that as a categorical statement, not a value judgment.
Opinion | The rotten seed of American individualism

Opinion | The rotten seed of American individualism

By Livia LaMarca, Assistant Opinions Editor October 7, 2024
We have for too long nurtured the rotten seed of American individualism, and its roots run far too deep and its fruit has grown too bitter.
