It’s 9 o’clock on a Thursday night, and the cavernous dining hall at Hofbräuhaus is filled with live music, locally brewed beer and soft pretzels the size of dinner plates.

Pitt students voted earlier this month for The Pitt News on their “Best Of” for Pittsburgh. The categories ranged from best tattoo parlor to best spring break spot, but there was no category more popular than food.
