A disagreement between a hijabi student actress and a Pitt playwright have made some in the University’s tight-knit Muslim and theater communities question the theater department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Launched in 2011, the Performance Collaborative focuses on promoting student-created and lesser-known work through a variety of workshops and festivals.
