While Soldiers & Sailors started selling flags in October, the nearly 100 flags will continue waving throughout November in honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the film “The Silence of the Lambs,” Pitt’s Office of New Student Programs hosted a Wednesday screening of the iconic thriller movie at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum.

The Swanson School of Engineering hosted its annual blood drive at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall on Tuesday in partnership with Vitalant, a nonprofit blood donation organization that supplies blood to nearly 900 hospitals across the United States.
Soldiers & Sailors is a war museum home to more than 10,000 donated artifacts from western Pennsylvanian soldiers who served from the Civil War to the Iraq War.

The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust, Inc., which operates Soldiers & Sailors— the iconic museum home to over 10,000 donated artifacts from western Pennsylvanian soldiers — is giving the lawn a major facelift. The lawn update will include the implementation of ramps to make the building more accessible.
