Thanks to Title IX, college women athletes across the country have opportunities most women 60 years ago could only dream of. The lasting impact of the amendment is seen in Pitt athletics across women’s sports.

This February, Title 9, a new sports bar opening in East Liberty, will solely show women athletes on the big screen.

While many are anxiously waiting to see how well Pitt’s football team is going to do this semester and are already discussing the men’s basketball season, the University of Pittsburgh’s women’s sports teams are accomplishing feat after feat. Some of our Pitt pride and support should go to them.
