The Pitt News

Brian Gentry is from Portland, Oregon, and is a junior mechanical engineering student with minors in mathematics and chemistry. He started as a columnist with The Pitt News in fall 2017 and served as the Online Visual Editor in fall 2018 before becoming an assistant news editor. He does computational chemistry research in the chemical engineering department. He hopes to go to graduate school in an engineering-related field before pursuing a career in academia.
