Elise Lavallee

Elise Lavallee, Layout Editor

Hello! As you can see above, my name is Elise Lavallee. I am a third year political science major at the University of Pittsburgh. I hope one day to do some form of international or political journalism. Most of my writing focuses on social and political issues affecting Pittsburgh and the world at large.

I joined The Pitt News during the second semester of my first year as a columnist, and fell in love with writing and the people I worked with. I began working on the editorial board as a sophomore, and haven’t stopped since. In addition to writing, I’m also a photographer and illustrator.

If you have any questions or suggestions, I would love to hear from you at [email protected] or [email protected].
